OFBA Travel Basketball Program:

• If numbers permit, two teams will be created for each grade.

• Both boys and girls players are evaluated at the tryout by outside evaluators who have basketball experience.

• Teams are selected using:

  • Skill evaluations/observation/coach-ability/willingness to participate and follow directions

  • Last year’s evaluation from their travel coach (except 3rd graders who did not play)

• Maximum of 10 players per team (OFBA reserves the right to select fewer than 10 players).

• Interested in coaching? ALL interested coaches MUST submit an application regardless of prior OFBA coaching experience. Apply here.

• Travel team coaches will be selected by the OFBA after teams have been made. OFBA coaches do not select the teams. Do not approach an OFBA coach about team selections. All questions are to be directed to Adam Lake/Tom Heil: ofbasketballassociation@gmail.com.

• Players selected for the travel teams will be assessed a $300 fee for the season which includes:

  • Basketball shorts (to keep) and an issued jersey (to return at the end of the season)

  • OFBA shooting shirt (to keep)

  • League Registration Fee (10 regular season games and end-of-season tournament)

  • Registration fee for 2 additional tournaments during season

  • Practice time (2 practices per week)

Rosters will be posted on the OFBA website on October 3rd.
